Mike Linsea, Owner & Project Manager

Mike Linsea is the Founder of Solar Winds Power Systems. He has acted as Project Manager/Account Manager for SWPS for nine years and has led the company into the successful installation of their renewable energy projects. Mike’s background began in Corporate Management in the 1980s. With thirty years’ experience in Corporate Business Management acting as General Manager for a Fortune 100 company. Mike’s expertise in dealing with Corporate at the Upper Management Level and Managing up to twenty five employees has been an asset in dealing with multiple customers in the renewable energy industry. Educated in Renewable Energy by Jordan College and Grand Valley State University, Mike understands and implements the science of renewable energy in all projects. Making sure that the placement of the projects are in ideal locations to produce peak energy, researching and implementing systems that meet budgetary requirements for SWPS clients and interfacing with customers representatives at all levels to make sure a clear line of communication is happening on a regular basis and assuring that all peripheral discussions happen with building, zoning and utilities officials to make sure that quality installations are the case. He has acted as consultant and advisory committee for the Grand Rapids Community College Learning Lab, Allegan Tech Center, Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo Chamber of Green Initiative Group, Southwest Michigan Green Business Forum. Guest Speaker at Green Architectural Events, Round Table Discussions and presentations at Expos and other educational events interested in renewable energy advice and training.
